A classic Jewish breakfast food that brings me back to my childhood.
Ingredients
- 5 sheets matzoh
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt, to taste
Directions
- Boil water in a teapot.
- Break the matzoh into small pieces in a colander. Pour the boiling water over the matzoh, being sure to get everything went.
- Scramble two eggs in a large bowl and add a pinch of salt. Add the drenched matzoh and mix to combine.
- In a large pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once bubbly, add the matzoh mixture and let sit until fried golden brown.
- Break up the matzoh and keep flipping until crispy. Salt to taste and serve hot!
